Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a leisurely stroll around Entebbe Botanical Gardens or visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. The evening will be spent relaxing and preparing for the adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest and oldest conservation area. En route, you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exhilarating guided walk to track white rhinos on foot. Continue to Murchison Falls, arriving in the late afternoon. Before dinner, visit the top of the falls to witness the Nile River's explosive plunge through a narrow gorge — a breathtaking sight.

Wake up early for a thrilling morning game drive on the northern bank of the park. Expect to see elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kob, and numerous bird species. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Victoria Nile, cruising towards the base of Murchison Falls. Watch hippos, crocodiles, and aquatic birds, with chances of seeing elephants and other animals drinking by the riverbank.

After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park, known for its dense tropical forest and high population of primates. The journey passes through traditional villages, tea plantations, and verdant countryside. Arrive in the evening and relax at your lodge nestled in the forest surroundings.

Start the day with an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by expert guides, track these lively primates as they swing through the treetops. Along the way, encounter other primates and bird species. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk, offering rich birdlife and chances to spot monkeys and bushbucks.

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a scenic journey through the Rwenzori Mountain ranges and the crater lake region. Upon arrival, enjoy a brief game drive as you head to your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife.

Rise early for a morning game drive in the Kaseny Plains, where you may spot elephants, leopards, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. Later, transfer to the Ishasha Sector, famous for its unique tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive in this area and try to catch sight of these elusive predators lounging in fig trees.

After breakfast, embark on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to over half the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population. The drive takes you through rolling hills and local villages. Arrive in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing at your lodge in preparation for the gorilla trek.

Today marks the highlight of your safari — gorilla trekking. After a briefing from park rangers, venture into the dense rainforest in search of a gorilla family. The trek can take 2-6 hours depending on the group’s location. Once found, spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, an experience that’s both humbling and unforgettable. Return to the lodge for relaxation or an optional village walk in the evening.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Entebbe, passing through Uganda’s lush countryside and small towns. Stop en route at the Equator for photos and souvenir shopping. Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon, where you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
